Texas Fight!

This past weekend we went to the UT vs. OSU game with Melissa and Marshall and had the best time. Good ole’ McCoy was able to pull us through yet another game; still unbeaten! Hook ‘Em! It had been a while since Grant and I had a break from the normal hustle and bustle at home and it was NICE!!

In God's Hands

After miscarrying for the second time around 11-12 weeks we decided to do further testing to rule out anything that we could easily "fix". Our chromosome study on the baby came back 100% normal male chromosomes so we are good in that department! Maybe Grant's joke about me having 19 boys running around the house is more of a reality than I think ha, ha! I also had a thorough screening done to rule out basic hormonal issues, metabolic issues, antiphospholipid syndrome and thrombophilias whew! All of my levels were normal on everything so Dr. Samuels recommended that we see an infertility specialist due to the fact that they monitor several other hormones rather than just the HcG and progesterone level. Yesterday I called to verify that our insurance was accepted and Hallelujah, it was! I was able to book an appointment with Dr. Valdez on November 11th.

Grant and I are very excited about our great news and look forward to God’s handy work in our lives. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

God is good!

Yard Work

I love the cool weather today and am glad we'll have a weekend full of it. It really gets me in the mood for the upcoming holidays. Grant and I are finally settled back into a normal routine after home hopping and not having electricity for two weeks. The house is clean, the laundry is done... and put away and our bank account is finally settling down ha, ha!

I had to share a few photos with you from last weekend. Grant and Shelby were outside doing the lawn while Harley and I were inside cleaning. Check out what we ran into in the back yard.....

What a mess!!! She had dug a hold in the back yard and was just laying in the middle of it all. Just like a pot belly pig. I think she did it all so she could lay on the living room floor while I blew her fur dry. Rotten little thing!
